Thin-client can run on LAN as well as WAN server through INTRANET, thus connecting to the central database if the database is hosted on a central server. Under license subscription the software is not installed physically at the client base but it is installed on the company server and the client has to pay monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ yearly subscription to access the system. Here the client will only have the ownership of his database and not of the optifocus software. The access of the software will be withdrawn once the client stops paying subscription amount.
The client should have a domain name registered for them and the same is required to be hosted on Windows Hosting Platform with .NET 2.0 and MS SQL Server 2000/2005 database support.

Yes, in Optifocus you may set up user groups and assign security levels.For example, a sales person may only be able to process sales, a supervisor can process sales, returns, change prices and clear the cash tills, and a manager can perform all the activities.

Optifocus is licensed per location/practice. In each location you may add as many stations as your business requires. A new location/practice requires a new license of Optifocus.
You may add as many stations as you need instantly or open a new location. Just call us for the additional license agreement and serial number.
